The PM5D V2 and PM5D-EX Digital Mixing Consoles now take the digital revolution to the next level. For applications that require serious I/O capacity there's the PM5D-EX: a PM5D console plus a DSP5D Digital Mixing System that gives you the I/O and processing capacity of two PM5D consoles controlled from a single control surface, plus the added advantages of digital cabling over long distances when necessary. There's virtually no limit to the possible configurations and applications, thanks to open architecture with the flexibility and expandability you need to handle just about any live sound and recording application. The PM5D has always been one of the few large digital consoles that can run at 96khz sampling rate with a full feature set.

Yamaha Pro Audio continue to design great digital consoles for every market niche. The latest offering is available in 32 & 48 channel versions. The M7CL features an evolution of the Yamaha UI paradigm, the new Centralogic™ section. This is the first Yamaha console to incorporate a touch panel. Other pro features include 16 mix buses, LCR bus, 8 matrix channels, 8 DCAs assignable to 16 omni outputs, high resolution effects, and onboard graphic eqs.

The M7CL has 3 expansion slots on the rear panel that accept a wide range of optional Yamaha mini-YGDAI I/O cards that can be used to add analog and/or digital input and output capability in a range of formats. You could add mini-YGDAI cards to connect to an MTR for direct multitrack recording, or to connect an Aviom personal monitoring system, for example. You can even use mini-YGDAI cards to bus-cascade the M7CL with other consoles for significantly expanded input/output capacity.

The Yamaha DM2000VCM is a complete multi-platform mixing system. This high performance digital console offers 96 input channels, extensive surround production features, integrated digital audio workstation and ProTools® control, providing more than nine times the processing power of the Yamaha 02R. Imagine 96 channels of clean, superior dynamic control; noise-free 24-bit/96kHz audio, and more effects and processing than you will probably need for most applications. In 96k mode, there is no loss of any inputs or outputs which is made possible by utilizing the newly developed DSP7 LSI's with 32-bit (accumulator 58-bit) internal processing. The Yamaha DM2000 provides full automation of virtually all console parameters, and features 24 smooth, quiet, touch-sensitive 100 mm motorized channel faders, which can instantly be layer-switched to control the 96 channels. All automation data is recorded at 1/4-frame accuracy. Now comes with VCM and other plug-in effects as standard.

The Yamaha DM1000 is designed especially for commercial post-production, audio for video and broadcast applications. But extraordinary versatility and configurability mean that the DM1000 is also ideal for a wide range of sound reinforcement applications. And with the supplied Studio Manager Application software, all mix data is interchangeable between the DM2000, DM1000 and 02R96. These consoles can be linked and cascaded interactively within a multi-complex studio, or a tour engineer can do a basic console setup on his laptop computer anywhere, and then simply load the settings into the console at the venue. The DM1000 delivers mixing power and performance that's way ahead of anything else on the market, and it even incorporates newly introduced software features such as 6.1 Surround, User Assignable Layer, and Global Recall Safe. Yamaha introduces a new generation 8-channel remote mic preamp/AD converter combining unparalleled sound quality with a host of innovative functions in 1RU rack size. Using AD8HR, Yamaha digital consoles such as PM5D, DM2000 and DM1000 can have a remotely placed high quality mic preamps derived from PM5000, digitally connected via 24-bit/96 kHz compatible AD converter, and control their gain, filter and phantom power from the console.

The DME64N and DME24N are two new additions to the DME family of programmable DSP processors.
